Abstract (EN): The main objective of this work is to investigate which factors can lead reduce the load over the denture saddle in the support tissue, in the case of distal extension dentures. In this work have been tested different solutions about the extension of the support surface of the denture, the number and anatomy of teeth, and also the influence of the impact loads over the tissues bellow. Stress analysis has been performed by using Holographic Interferometry Photoelasticity, Electric Extensometry and also Finite Elements.
