Abstract (EN): The Element Free Galerkin Method (EFGM) exhibits some problems, namely volumetric locking, shear locking and hourglass. A new vision based in vector spaces theory can explain why these problems appear in the EFGM context. In order to solve the locking problem, the B-bar method is implemented under the scope of the EFGM. Finally, to render this method more robust, a stabilization technique is implemented.
