Resumo (PT): FR: Un sentiment généralisé de crise et de volonté de renouvellement en Europe, que bien des écrivains ont approché dans leurs écritures, émerge aussi dans Europe de Romain Gary et Europeana de Patrik Ouredník, auteurs à parcours identitaire pluriel. Ce sera donc autour de ces deux ouvrages, aux regards rétrospectifs sur le Vieux Continent frôlant un bilan sur son impact culturel, que nous nous attarderons sur les représentations de l’Europe et des Européens pour penser un éventuel échec culturel dont la littérature se ferait l’écho.

Abstract (EN): A generalized feeling of crisis and desire for renewal in Europe, which many writers have approached in their writings, also emerges in Europe by Romain Gary and Europeana by Patrik Ouredník, authors with a plural identity path. It will therefore be around these works, with retrospective glances on the Old Continent and bordering on a review of its cultural impact, that we will focus on the representations of Europe and Europeans to think about a possible cultural failure of which literature would be an echo.
