Abstract (EN): Intensification of sorption processes by using ''large-pore'' adsorbents for linear and nonlinear isothermal cases has been studied on the basis of the intraparticle diffusion/convection model. It is shown that the new design using ''large-pore'' packings is more reasonable than that obtained by reducing the particle size, particularly for processes operating in the laminar flow region.
