Enrolment For Grade Improvement - 2024/2025

From 26 May/2025 until three working days before the exam date

Students 1st Cycle (Bachelor degrees), 2nd cycle (Master degrees) and extraordinary who wish to enrol in exams to improve their grade in the normal and supplementary exam periods (curricular units of the 2nd semester and annual), must submit a request through SIGARRA-FCUP from 26 May/2025 until three working days before the exam date set in the exam calendar available on the FCUP website.
Requests for enrolment cancellation will not be allowed for grade improvement exams.

Enrolment requirements:

1. Students must pay for the enrolment fees (the fee for grade improvement exams is ¤12 per curricular unit), for grade improvement exams and choose a payment method in your student account (MB Way, Reference for payment, Bank Card).  See payment methods here: https://sigarra.up.pt/fcup/en/WEB_BASE.GERA_PAGINA?p_pagina=1032608
2. Only students who meet the requirements in article 17 of the "General Regulations for the Assessment of 1st cycle, integrated masters and 2nd cycle students of the University of Porto” (Order no. 1535/2018 of 13/02) and Article 12 of the "Regulations for the Evaluation of student" can take grade improvement exams.
3. The Academic Services will only register in exams for grade improvement, after the result regarding the approval is available at the student's academic pathway in SIGARRA-FCUP.
4. Regarding the Tuition fees, students must meet the conditions in no. 3 of Article 7 of "Regulation no. 723/2020 of 31/08 - Amendment to U. Porto’s Tuition Fees Regulations".

Students must follow these steps:

1. Log in to SIGARRA on FCUP website (https://sigarra.up.pt/fcup/web_page.inicial)
2. Access your personal page (Click on your name);
3. Click on "Requests" in the menu on the right side;
4. Select the type of request - "Enrolment in Exams - Grade Improvement"

       Compulsory: include the name and code of the curricular unit and the period of exams you wish to take the
       grade improvement exam: normal exam period or supplementary exam period.
       To select the curricular unit, click on "+".
