Personal Presentation

Joana Rodrigues holds a PhD in Digital Media, with a specialization in Journalism, Data and Information Management, from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, following her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Information Science from the Faculties of Engineering and Letters of the University of Porto.

She is a researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto and INESC TEC, where she cooperates in research data management and image management projects, as part of the Information Systems R&D Laboratory of the Department of Computer Engineering (InfoLab) and the Center for Human-Centered Computing and Information Science (HumaISE).

In addition to her research projects, Joana Rodrigues is a visiting assistant professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, where she teaches on the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Information Science, and a consultant in the field of information management at the Rectory of the University of Porto, in the context of cultural infrastructures.
