In this context, students will acquire knowledge in the interfaces between these two areas, from an integrative perspective, and will be encouraged to develop critical thinking, self-confidence, social and ethical responsibility, appreciation of diversity and inclusivity in all its dimensions. The objectives also include the development of skills to tackle new problems in biology and environment, communication with peers and society, and economic and social valorisation of advances in knowledge.
