The main goal of Master course in Geomaterials and Geological Resources (MGRG) is to form professionals in Economical Geology and Characterization of Geomaterials. The MGRG provides training and access to the job market in Applied and Economical Geology, Circular Geological Economy fields, very important for our modern society.
Graduated students are qualified to work as professional technicians or geologists in several branches, such as:
- Exploration geological companies (mineral resources, water, and energy).
- Processing of minerals and rocks.
- Mining companies.
- Building companies and consortium.
- National geological survey, laboratories, research companies and consulting office.
The holder title offers qualification to work in related areas such as planning, prediction and prevention of natural disasters, environmental geological management and conservation, and sustainable development.
