Admissions Requirements

Admission criteria:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Physical Engineering, Technological Physics, Applied Physics with a strong background in Physics, and advanced Mathematics.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in a scientific area and/or a CV that the course committee recognizes as sufficient for the completion of the course.

Criteria for Selection and Ranking

Selection and Ranking Criteria:

Each candidate will be evaluated according to one of the criteria (a) or (b), whichever is most favorable to the candidate. The final grade is given in percentage 0-100%, by which the candidates will be ranked.

  1. Only with academic CV (100% weighting)
In the evaluation of the Academic CV:
    • Bachelor's Degree grade (20 corresponds to 80%, the remaining grades are determined in proportion)
    • Scientific papers (Max: 10%)
    • Merit awards or other awards (Max: 10%)
  2. academic CV (weighting 75%) + professional experience (weighting 25%)
In the evaluation of the Academic CV + professional experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree grade (20 corresponds to 60%, the remaining grades are determined in proportion)
    • Scientific papers (Max: 7,5%)
    • Merit awards or other awards (Max: 7,5%)
In the evaluation of the professional experience, one of the following aspects will be considered:
    • Experience in the field of medical physics (Max 25/25%)
    • Relevant experience in physics and mathematics (Max 15/25%)
    • Relevant experience in other fields related to medical physics (Max 10/25%)

Minimum admission grade: 45%

Tiebreaker criteria: motivation letter, in particular cases the course committee may request an interview.
