Master in Landscape Architecture

InformationCourse/CS accredited by the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES).

The Master’s in Landscape Architecture intends to transmit know-how in landscape design, planning and management specifically aimed at urban spaces including both cultural and natural terrains, rural spaces and landscape restoration.

These skills are acquired through learning about the natural and human processes continually impacting the formation of the landscape and directed at sustainable intervention in the environment. To this end, thorough methodological and practical knowledge is brought together with the development of the creative process and set upon the foundation of specific understanding of the humanities and applied sciences as well as on technical know how.


Admissions Requirements

  • To hold a degree in Landscape Architecture or related areas, as long as the candidate's CV demonstrates adequate basic scientific and artistic preparation;
  • To hold a foreign higher education degree in one of the areas described in the previous paragraph;
  • To have an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that the scientific committee of the Course recognizes as sufficient to attest to the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies.

Criteria for Selection and Ranking

The ranking will be done according to the following criteria and sub-criteria:

  • Academic curriculum (training area and average obtained) (50%)
    • Subcriterion 1: training area (30%)
      • A. Training in Landscape Architecture
      • B. Degree or equivalent in areas related to Landscape Architecture - 50-80 Pts
    • Subcriterion 2: average degree (20%) (or in the case of candidates who do not have a degree, weighted average of all UCs carried out on the application date);
      • Average degree * 5 - (50 to 100 Pts)
  • Scientific curriculum and professional experience (50%)
    • Subcriterion 1: Portfolio (30%)
    • Subcriterion 2: Professional experience (15%)
    • Subcriterion 4: Other skills: participation in research projects; artistic projects; participation in undergraduate courses in the area of ​​the study cycle; publications; awards; skills in information technology, exchanges and mobility; involvement in various initiatives (5%)
