The main objective of the Master of Astronomy is to complement and extend the training of graduate students in astronomy, physics, mathematics and related fields. In particular, in order to improve their preparation for a research career in Astronomy, through their subsequent enrolment in a Doctoral Programme in Astronomy.
Applicants to the Master in Astronomy must hold a first cycle degree (minimum of 180 ECTS credits), whose Study Plan includes at least 45 ECTS credits in mathematics and physics, including a minimum of 15 ECTS credits in each of these scientific areas.
Final classification obtained in the first cycle degree.
Any tie between candidates will be resolved in favor of the candidate whose first cycle degree study plan contains the most ECTS credits in Astronomy.
