Master’s degree will be lectured in English and the Thesis must be written in English as well.
The Master’s in Astronomy aims to complement and deepen the training of First Cycle degree holders in Astronomy, Physics, Mathematics and related areas, improving their preparation and initiating them into a research career in Astronomy, leading to their subsequent enrolment in a Doctoral Programme in Astronomy.
Successful applicants for the Master’s of Science in Astronomy must be first cycle degree holders (minimum of 180 ECTS credits) whose Study Plan includes at least 45 ECTS credits in mathematics and physics, including a minimum of 15 ECTS credits in each of these scientific areas, as well as those applicants who will have fulfilled said conditions by the date of their potential enrolment in the Master’s of Science Degree in Astronomy.
