Bachelor in Mathematics

The first cycle mathematics degree supplies students with solid basic training in mathematics which will permit them to continue on any of a number of future paths, such as:
  • entering immediately into the job market in a competitive fashion in a range of sectors of industrial and service sectors;
  • continuing on to second cycle and possibly third cycle studies of a highly scientific nature;
  • continuing on to second and possibly third cycle studies in applied mathematics;
  • continuing to second cycle studies for teaching mathematics at the middle or secondary school levels.
