Master in Agricultural Engineering

The general objectives of the Master’s Programme in Agricultural Engineering are to provide the following:
  • Deep knowledge in one determined scientific area, based on research, innovation or the deepening of technical and professional skills
  • The ability to comprehend and to solve problems in new situations or in broad and multi-disciplinary contexts whether in research or in the exercise of a specialised professional activity
  • The capacity to integrate know-how, deal with complex issues, design solutions or proffer opinions in situations characterised by limited or incomplete information, including reflections upon the implications and ethical and social responsibilities resulting from these solutions and these judgements or which have influence on them
  • The ability to clearly and unambiguously communicate one’s knowledge, conclusions, and the logic underlying them, either to specialists or to lay-people
  • Know-how permitting students to continue a career of life-long learning
The Master’s Programme in Agricultural Engineering aims to provide:
  • Technical and scientific know-how to enable professionals to resolve problems and design solutions in the agronomy, agro environmental and agro industrial sectors
  • Expertise to fulfil management responsibilities in the agricultural and agro industrial fields
  • Skills necessary for the design and implementation of projects and innovative studies in the agronomy and agro industrial fields
