The cycle of studies leading to the Master's degree in Ecology and Environment is composed by:
a) A specialization composed by an organised set of curricular units corresponding to 60 ECTS credits. It confers a Specialization in Ecology and Environment;
b) One curricular unit of free choice, in any scientific area at the University of Porto (2nd cycle level), or in the area of Transversal/Transferable Skills, with 3 ECTS;
c) A dissertation of a scientific nature, or an internship of a professional nature subject to a final report, corresponding to 57 of the total 120 ECTS credits of the cycle of studies, approved by public defence. The successful completion of the cycle of studies grants the Master's degree in Ecology and Environment.
