The cycle of studies includes:
- a 60 ECTS master's degree (non-degree award), corresponding to the first curricular year, which grants a master's degree (non-degree award) in Computational Statistics and Data Analysis;
- 12 ECTS obtained from two optional curricular units and a dissertation of a scientific nature, or a project work, original and specially carried out for this purpose, or an internship subject to a final report, corresponding to 48 of the total 120 ECTS credits of the cycle of studies. The approval of the Dissertation / Project / Internship in public tests allows for a Master's degree in Computational Statistics and Data Analysis.
Regarding optional curricular units:
a) the list presented in this study plan may undergo changes through deliberation by FCUP's scientific bodies;
b) the Scientific Master's Committee may authorize the attendance of up to 12 ECTS in curricular units of othe rmaster's degrees, possibly from other scientific areas of the University of Porto, of personal development or transversal / transferable skills and within the framework of the international EUGLOH alliance.
c) all student choices are subject to approval by the Master's Scientific Committee.
