The cycle of studies is composed by:
a) A specialization course consisting of an organized set of curricular units corresponding to 60 ECTS. It confers a Specialization in Bioinformatics and Computational Biochemistry (non-degree awarding);
b) Two optional curricular units, a Dissertation Project, and a Dissertation, these last two of a scientific nature, original and specially made for this purpose, with the Dissertation being defended in a public examination. This training corresponds to 60 of the total of 120 ECTS credits of the study cycle, and will allow to obtain the master's degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
The syllabus includes an offer of numerous optional curricular units. This list may be amended by the scientific bodies of the Faculty, namely by indicating the offer of curricular units for each academic year. The group of optional curricular units chosen by each student requires the approval of the Scientific Committee for this cycle of studies.
