The Faculty of Science of the University of Porto (FCUP) is one of the largest units of the University of Porto (UP) both in terms of student numbers and scientific productivity. Its teaching staff is organized into research centres of recognised excellence guaranteeing the highest international levels of educational quality. Since 1911, the FCUP has been training students in the exact and natural sciences and their technological applications, with a broad offering of first, second and third cycle degrees.
