Thesis Submission for FCUP’s PhD Students – Academic year 2021/2022

According to the PhD Regulations of the University of Porto, article 17, the process of the PhD thesis submission for defense starts upon request of the student. The request must be submitted here after authentication and within the student’s deadline.

• Digital version (PDF) of the Thesis (layout available in SIGARRA);
• Curriculum Vitae (PDF);
• Sworn Statement (Article 14 of the Code of Ethical Academic Conduct of the U. Porto) (EN)
• Declarations from all the supervisor team stating that the Thesis is ready for presentation;
• In case of an FCT scholarship, proof of the last renewal.

Note:

According to the Table of Fees of the UP, the student is bound to pay 500,00¤ (five hundred euros) upon the thesis submission request.

This amount will be available for payment upon the student’s account, after analysis of the request by the Post-Graduation Unit. The payment methods can be found here. The request will only be validated after the payment is confirmed.
