Objectives
The Chemistry Lab (Q1013) course comprises a set of practical works, involving several experimental techniques and procedures with the aim of providing the students with a basic training in chemistry laboratory techniques.
Learning outcomes and competences
It is intended that at the end of the semester the student has acquired the following basic skills:i) to be able to perform correctly and accurately a set of basic unit operations in laboratory chemistry;ii) to be able to plan, execute and interpret critically experiments in chemistry related to the practical problem-solving;iii) to know how to correctly prepare reports of experimental activities.

Calculation formula of final grade
Formula Evaluation: final mark: NLAB = 0,50 x NTP + 0,50 x NAP where NTP is the average grade of all 6 practical laborations and NAP is the individual lab assessment mark Approval requires NLAB ≥ 10, NAP ≥ 8 and NTP≥ 8.
