To know and understand the distinction in terms of structuring and organization of scientific texts, depending on the type of communication technique to use.
To be able to create a short structured and organized article.
To know and understand the evaluation criteria of scientific texts.
To be able to conduct the evaluation of scientific texts created by peers.
To create an electronic presentation environment for scientific conference and make the respective presentation, in a motivating, clear and succinct way.
Being able to structure and identify the most relevant parts of an article, to be able to search, analyze, relate and synthesize and evaluate information on a topic of informatics; being able to perform a critical analysis of the work of staff and colleagues; be able to adapt to different environments scientific discourse: written, oral, multimedia.
Structuring of scientific texts, technical writing, evaluation of articles, visual communication and slides, contrast, readability and visual coherence, oral communication.
There are several references on the subject, however none is especially suggested for this course. Doubts about this topic and reading suggestions may be discussed with the lecturer.
