Abstract (EN):
This paper aims at describing the predicative features of light verbs dar, fazer
and ter followed by deverbal nominalizations, showing that they are not mere functional
elements, nor auxiliary verbs, but they share some properties with full verbs. In this sense,
those constructions constitute complex predicates, generated in syntax. We also argue
for a narrow interaction between the features of the selected nominalizations and some
properties of the light verbs inherited from the corresponding full verbs, which restricts
the possibilities of combinations between the light verbs and the aspectual classes of the
nominal predicates.
