Objectives, activities and expected/achieved results

The proposal is divided in six tasks:
- Task 1: Biodiversity data compilation for vascular plants, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals occurring in Montesinho natural park.
- Task 2: Compilation of time series of SRS data (MODIS/Landsat/Sentinel) with Google Earth Engine.
- Task 3: Calculation of time series of ENMs using biodiversity data and time series of SRS.
- Task 4: Estimation of species extinction risk and vulnerable areas by analysing the trends of the time series of ENMs with the Mann-Kendall test. These analyses will be performed by species, taxa, and
IUCN category levels.
- Task 5: Implementation of the framework in a web GIS and in an R package.
- Task 6: Organisation of a final workshop and free course where we will present the main results of the project and will teach how to use our methodological framework.
