The Degree in Digital Health and Biomedical Innovation (SauD InoB) will train new professionals at the intersection of health and technology with the ability to integrate and lead the digital transformation and innovation processes in health.
With a duration of 6 semesters (180 ECTS), the first four semesters (120 ECTS) constitute a common core that includes a set of Curricular Units (UC) that all students must complete. These 120 ECTS are divided into 29 ECTS in Computer Science, 26 ECTS in Data Science, 26 ECTS in Human Biology, 25 ECTS in Clinical Medicine and Health Services, 11 ECTS in Management, and 3 ECTS in elective units.
In the last two semesters (60 ECTS), students must choose one of four alternative pathways:
Each alternative pathway has three internship units in the first semester (totaling 22 ECTS) and a project unit in the second semester (totaling 12 ECTS), in addition to a set of core units (17 ECTS) and elective units (9 ECTS) related to the subject.
SauD InoB aims to train health professionals with knowledge and skills in human biology, clinical and health services, informatics, data sciences, and management.
Equipped with the ability to integrate "languages," reasoning, and clinical processes with technological skills and competencies in research and management, these highly skilled and creative graduates will be able to respond to the complex needs and challenges of the healthcare sector.
The goal is to accelerate digital transformation, research, and innovation in healthcare and build bridges between the many players in the sector.
