This cycle of studies consists of:
a) A curricular component of 60 ECTS. Approval in all the curricular units in the first year of the doctorate course confers a "Certificate of Doctorate Course in Landscape Architecture and Urban Ecology" (does not grant a degree) which includes the final grade obtained, issued by the host University of the edition of the Programme where the curricular component took place. It must also refer the Joint Programme and include the logos of the three Universities;
b) An original thesis of scientific nature, especially carried out for this purpose, which awards 120 of the total 180 ECTS of the cycle of studies, approved by public defence. The successful completion of the cycle of studies grants the Doctor's Degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban Ecology.
