Objectives
The objective of this unit is to provide students with a solid base of knowledge regarding ethics and its application in research and intervention in Community Nutrition and Public Health.
Learning outcomes and competences
As a final result of learning, it is expected that competences will be acquired in the capacity to:
1. Reflect on the fundamental concepts of ethics
2. Understand the issues and challenges of contemporary ethics
3. Recognize the complexity of the issues addressed
4. To conclude on the importance of applying ethical principles in research and intervention in Community Nutrition and Public Health

Teaching methods and learning activities
Theoretical sessions folowed by joint discussions of the issues addressed, with analisis and discussion of real practical cases.
