Eligibility for exams
The participation in practical classes (Continuous Assessement) is considered essential for approval of all students and to conduct final exam. Students whose status allows exemption of such participation should contact the teacher responsible for the discipline in the first two weeks of classes.
In these cases, approval will be obtained by carrying out work that can be done outside the classroom, and that will be released and guided by the responsible teacher.
Calculation formula of final grade
Continuous assessment 50% (A) + 50% Final Examination (B):
(A) * assesses the attendance, attitude, participation and problem solving ability demonstrated in practical classes. The minimum score that will enable the completion of the final exam is 9.5 out of 20.
(B) consists of a written test with questions that focus on all the subjects taught and whose minimum score is 9.5 out of 20.
* The continuous assessment component (A) is considered essential for approval of all students and to conduct final exam.
