The evaluation includes two components (A) and (B).
(A) it consists of the evaluation of the following activities: planning, building up materials and performing four sessions of nutrition education for schoolchildren. The minimum is 9.5 in 20.
(B) written test, one of the options B1 or B2
(B1) two tests, during class time. The students who choose this option will be required to reach a minimum mark of 9.5 in 20 in each of these two parts. If not they will be automatically directed to the final exam at the "Época de Recurso".
(B2) final written exam which includes all topics. A minimum of 9.5 in 20 is also required.
The students who will decide to be assessed by the final written test may also attend the "Época de Recurso" if they do not reach 9.5 out 20 points
The (A) component is compulsory to be approved in the curricular unit.
Students whose statute allows the exemption of attending classes should contact the chair/coordinator of curricular unit on the first two weeks of classes, in order to be attributed other activities.
The final mark results from the sum of the above mentioned components, whose relative weight is 60% for component A and 40% for component B.
(A) =60% + (B) =40%
The improvement of the final mark is only possible by improving component B, that means performing again a written test which includes questions about the taught contents (which corresponds to 8 points) and added to the mark in component A (which correspond to 12 points). For this aim, the mark in component A is valid in the two subsequent years.
