The UC of Anatomia Humana I will comprise two lectures of 60 minutes per week and 1 practical session of 120 minutes per week.
The lectures will include the presentation of concepts of general anatomy, introduction or overview of major themes and descriptive explanation of issues.
The practical classes will be taught in the Teatro Anatómico of the Department of Anatomy, FMUP, and will comprise the observation, identification and description of structures.

In agreement with the Regulamento do 1º Ciclo de Estudos em Ciências de Nutrição, FCNAUP.
The EVALUATION will include a component of distributed evaluation and a final exam.
The SUMMATIVE EVALUATION will comprise three theoretical examinations (ADT 1-3) of 20 multiple choice questions, all in the range of 0-20 values. The exams will be scheduled on days and times in this plan.The combined result of the three ADT (ADTF) will represent 100% of the final theoretical.
Students who obtain the ADTF rating equal to or higher than 10 are excused from the theory test, being this classification replaced by the ADTF.
The FINAL EXAM will consist of a practical and a theoretical test.
The practical test (P) is a "gincana" and consists in the identification of a set of 30 anatomical structures. This exame is mandatory and students will be required to get a grade equal or superior to 10 in order to be admitted to the theoretical exam, or use the ADTF. The performance in the practical exam involves obtaining a minimum score of 10 points, which corresponds to the correct identification of 20 structures. The classification of 20 values corresponds to the correct identification of 30 structures. The intermediate ratings will be calculated in proportion to the number of identified structures.
The theoretical test (T) consists of 50 multiple-choice questions. Will be considered approved in the theoretical examination students who obtain a minimum score of 10 points.
Students who wish to improve their grade of ADTF Will have to undergo this test theoretical. In this case, students will dismiss their ADTF classification.
The final classification (CF) will be calculated using the formulas:
- For students with a rating higher than 10 in the final distributed theoretical evaluation:
CF = (3ADTF + P) / 4
- For students who perform theoretical test:
CF = (3T + P) / 4
Final exam that implies the realization of both practical and theoretical examinations, according with the “Quadro de Cálculo da Classificação Final”
