The PhD in Clinical Nutrition is a post-graduation aimed to professionals of Health Sciences areas.
The cycle of studies is a three years cycle and provides a total of 180 ECTS. The cycle consists on the development of a thesis of scientific, unique and specially held for this purpose on the basis of a research work, and whose approval in a public examination will award the degree of Doctor on Clinical Nutrition.
The cycle of studies is accredited by the Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education Agency (). More information can be found in the reports made available by A3ES.
Bachelor's degree holders (with a minimum mark of 14/20) or master (integrated masters) in the areas of Nutrition, Medicine or another area considered adequate by the scientific committee of the cycle of studies (minimum 240 ECTS) in the area of health sciences;
Applicants must also have a good spoken and written English and Portuguese.
