First Degree

 

The cycle of studies leading to a degree lasts eight semesters, which correspond, respectively, 240 ECTS credits.

This course of study is comprised of an organized set of courses in one or more scientific fields (mandatory and optional), named degree.

Students who obtain approval for all course units in the syllabus this cycle and thus obtain the number of credits for which the same was fixed, is conferred the degree of Bachelor.

Master Degree

 

The cycle of studies leading to the degree of Master has a duration of four semesters , which correspond , respectively , 120 ECTS credits.

This course of study includes :

    A specialized course consists of an organized set of courses called masters course , which corresponds to a minimum of 50 % of the total credits of the course .

     A scientific dissertation or project work , unique and specially made ​​for this purpose or a professional internship final report object , depending on the specific objectives sought , which corresponds to a minimum of 35 % of the total credits of the cycle studies . Students who obtain approval for all courses that comprise the curriculum of the master program ( curriculum component of the respective cycle) can be assigned a degree of Masters Course (non -degree awarding ) , and those who enroll in the dissertation / project / internship and obtain approval in their public act of defense , is conferred the degree of Master .

Phd

 

The cycle of studies leading to a PhD degree has a duration of 6 semesters, respectively corresponding to 180 ECTS credits.

This course of study includes:

•  The preparation of an original thesis and designed especially for this purpose, appropriate to the branch of knowledge or expertise.
•  The eventual realization of courses aimed at training for research, whose set is called the PhD course. The PhD degree will be awarded to those who have passed into the public act of defense of the thesis.
