Objectives

• Develop technological expertise, historical, theoretical and practical on the Sound in Arts.

• Encourage a critical and reflective, promoting habits of argument and discussion of projects.

• Understand the specific aggregate to Sound Art and adjust multiple available media resources and to develop projects in this area.

• Design and develop Sound Art work, valuing methodologies and experimentation.

Learning outcomes and competences

• As a result of learning, project-based so developed over the semester, it is intended that students acquire skills in sound art, knowledge integration, project management, content production adjusted to the proposed project work.

• Sound Art aims to develop and consolidate the knowledge acquired in the discipline Audio continue learning theoretical and technical language specific sound in plastic production, with special emphasis on application of knowledge in the development of a working draft of Sound Art. Develop a sound art project bearing in mind the plasticity of sound.

Teaching methods and learning activities

• The curricular unit will be developed according to a theoretical-practical model that will alternate classes of monitoring and discussion of the project to be developed throughout the semester, with laboratory classes and fieldwork.

Eligibility for exams

The students evaluation is based on the development of the creative research project, in a continuous way, in the class; on the participation in colective discussions around their own work and their colleagues' work; on the final presentation of the work.

Calculation formula of final grade

• The student will develop an individual project throughout the semester, which will be accounted for the content of the proposal, its practical application and its defense. The continuous assessment will be required to comply with a minimum of 50% of classes.
