Objectives

To optimize designing skills at different stages of a practical problem (the project work);

Contributing to the development of a methodology for the project;

Helping to create adequate concepts and images that support the development and the execution of the project work;

Promote reflection and critical thinking;

Promoting attitudes of active participation and foster cooperation among students and between them and the different courses.

Learning outcomes and competences

This curriculum unit aims to give continuity to the previous unit Drawing and Place Survey, articulating a more operative approach with the curriculum unit Project. Thus, it is intended to contribute to the development of design methodologies based on the practice of drawing. It is also intended to promote a critical spirit from sharing ideas and professional practices with focus on the following points: exploration and application of ideas and concepts, creation of different options and formal responses to a given exercise or program, its visual representation and communication of ideas.
