Objectives
Develop and understand the design of identity systems, corporate and institutional, from its origin to its current manifestations.
Develop identity projects from various programs, ends and media in which the design of identity systems is currently developing. Understand structural concepts in communication design related with multimodal representational systems. Consolidate a project culture in design and develop a critical approach to its practice.
Learning outcomes and competences
On a sequential logic, conceptual, technical, operative, aesthetic and symbolic competences/skills are developed related to the fields of identity systems, identity design and their signs and strategies.

Projeto 2 develops its program through a serie of theoretical and practical projects. On a sequential logic, conceptual, technical, operational, aesthetic and symbolic competences/skills regarding identity design and identity systems are approached and developed in relation to identity design and identity systems, through a hierarchy of complexity and depth of program.

Teaching methods and learning activities
The Projeto 2 curriular unit is developed according to a theoretical-practical model that alternates lectures, collective discussions and project development. The working classroom is organized as a laboratory for production and investigation in design and thus its regular attendance by the students it's paramount and mandatory. The unit projects are developed individually and in work-groups of varying size, encouraging methods of teamwork and the transversal flow of individual skills and knowledge.

Calculation formula of final grade
The unit Projeto 2 has several evaluations moments. The final grade is calculated from the weighted average of projects assessment (80%), and its articulation with a qualitative assessment of attendance and participation of students in the classroom and other unit related activities (20%). Work not monitored during class is not valid for evaluation.

All issues omitted in the FBAUP's RGAD will be dealt on a case basis and solved by the school's competent instances.
