Objectives
Working the autonomy and practice of Drawing as a reflective, expressive and communicative means;
Develop the idea of drawing as an artistic object, in a perspective close to the investigations produced in the field of Illustration, working on their similarities and differences;
Pursuing the idea of the project of Drawing in its possible and different aspects;
To work on a “simulation” of studio research, taking responsibility for the chosen methodological strategies;
Develop the critical discourse of the work produced through the debate of ideas and the elaboration of texts.
Deepen knowledge and values of Drawing and its History, fundamentally with regard to Contemporary Drawing.

Ability to contextualize and position the work itself as a contemporary artistic practice.
Attendance and monitoring of the work plan. Punctuality.
It is considered as a limit for obtaining frequency the participation of 75% of the classes given.

Teaching methods and learning activities
The 162 Semester Work Hours (SWH) in this subject are organized as follows:
45 Semester Contact Hours (HCS) distributed among:
Lectures presenting and explaining the syllabus.
Theoretical-practical classes:
Implementation, development and exploration of exercises/content.
Analysis, criticism and evaluation of the results obtained.
The remaining HTS (117 hours) are used to develop and deepen the practice involved, based on the specific statements for and exploration of content, bearing in mind the b-learning component in the work methodology.
Visits to exhibitions and places of interest to the curricular unit will be studied, and participation in seminars, workshops, etc. will also be open.

Assessment is continuous, which means that students must systematically attend all classes. Attendance is taken to mean participation in at least 75% of classes.
