Objectives
Assist students in completing, in quality and on time, the dissertation / report;
Critically monitor the development of work / study, regardless of the supervision of supervisors;
Assist in solving the methodological problems inherent in the process of each student, in the dimensions of study, writing and project practice;
Provide information and content related to the entire second year process: documents to be delivered, public proof and their evaluation.
Learning outcomes and competences
At the end of the semester, students will have developed a set of skills that will allow them to produce a written document and the respective practical component (when it exists), as well as face the public master's test with more confidence, armed with methodological and theoretical arguments related to their thematic or in the general domain of the course - graphic and editorial design.
In this sense, students, in addition to having participated in oral presentations on the contents taught and participating in clarification discussions, had to write a text / presentation of the study / project and made a final presentation (with half the time of the public test) .

1. Research and study in design and the specifics of each type of study / project: dissertation, project and internship.
2. Methodology and characteristics of the three master's degrees: what they aim for and what is expected of each;
3. Practical work, theoretical study and the document to be delivered;
4. Review of the document's characteristics: abstract, keywords, indexes, introduction, chapters, conclusions;
5. The writing and writing styles of dissertations and reports;
6. Bibiography, citations and normative process;
7. The visual and verbal presentation of the public master's test and its defense;
8. Criteria for the evaluation of the dissertation / report and final exam.

Teaching methods and learning activities
The teaching methods used throughout the semester are: expository, interrogative, demonstrative and active.
Content exposure classes; discussion of the nature and suitability of each method; presentation of examples, with guests and through successful projects and studies; practice of writing and visual and verbal presentation.
