Objectives
1. Deepening understanding of issues relating to the nature of artistic practice markedly three-dimensional spatial or sculptural, both procedural and technological;
2. Awareness of individual and collective processes of work;
3. Investigation of technology environments, materials and media work;
4. Collection, selection and personalized information;
5. Developing the ability to reflect on the results and establishing values diacritics;
6. Deepening the capacity for critical reflection in line with the development of the work and results, as well as within the framework of the contemporary artistic practice.
Program
The aim of this course is to stimulate the development of plastic as a conscious creative process founded on the object and three-dimensional space, its technological achievements, affiliations and conceptual criticism. In this sense, we want to confront the student in the study of the relationship of the body / object (such as exercise auto-conhecimento/representação) with the space as a territory to handle.
It is intended that the student acquires and develops a critical sense to the appropriate level of training of the 2nd year of the 1st cycle, procedural and technological fields. The organization of the different stages of work, research and development, and results will be kept on file.
Teaching methods and learning activities
Is formulated a set of proposed structuring of teaching strategies, since it is about each that will be mobilized various actions;
Lectures accompanying the development of proposals, dealing with plastics and technical aspects, conceptual and critical.
Sessions nature presents to promote confrontation with examples from art history from various epochs and contemporary art practice through the means available (projection of images, video or other).
Visits to exhibitions, museums, shops, and others whose interest and opportunity are appropriate to the features of the current year or are translated into an asset for the artistic education of pupils at this level;
Moments of individual discussion and collective monitoring of responses to the proposed exercises, as well as reflection and critical analysis of the set of results at the end of each fiscal year.

Distributed evaluation without final exam
Eligibility for exams
Assessment is continuous, but were exercised at two levels:
First level: is the assessment that is submitted to the outcome of each financial year ending in confrontation with the processes involved;
Second level: assessment of student progress throughout the semester, also on the file that the compiler itself, through which it is possible to reconstruct an evolutionary overview.
