Objectives
- Explore communication languages strongly supported by the photographic image (analog and digital). - In depth knowledge on technological recording and reproduction of images. - Understand technical handling of equipment and materials needed to obtain photographs. - Articulation of theoretical knowledge in historical and contemporary contexts associated with photographic practice.

This course will explore the importance and relationship that photography has in visual communication projects. Starting from a base of knowledge in technology and understanding of language that implicitly or explicitly incorporate photography as a main form of communication, is expected to get answers which are new ways of thinking and acting on a still image, in particular, on the photography

It is intended that students develop drafts and production of visual communication projects, contextualised by a theoretical and historical background, in response to proposals submitted during the operation of the semester.

Calculation formula of final grade
Upon delivery of each project the students will be graded on a scale from A to F alphabetical, which make up a split between the articulation of concepts (theoretical foundation) and the materialization of the project (technical field capacity).
