Rui Ferro comprises up plastic artist-sculptor, taking the specific formation of the 90's, XX century, in the Fine Arts Porto School. Subscribe Thomas Schutte when he says: " I still think today that artist should have dirty fingers." In his teaching career has developed research in the field of moulding and casting and submitted in 2015, the dissertation to obtain a PhD degree based on artistic creation, entitled Mould an Identity, practical and conceptual analysis of a process creative. Work which completes a research cycle that began with the survey, recording and analysis of Moulding Processes in FBA.UP developed within the Pedagogical Aptitude Test and Scientific Capacity, continued withe the reflection Moulding Processes, Education and Artistic Production, presented as master's thesis. It also develops his artistic route, like whom gold-digging physical and mental time, enlarged from the teaching activity.
