Objectives

It is intended as objectives for this course:
- Developing a visual language itself and the construction of technical skills for its development.
- Practical understanding and application of methodologies aimed at research, critical reflection and illustration.
- Self-direction and originality in tackling and solving problems, as well as interaction autonomously in planning and executing tasks
- Desenvolvmento the notion of research personnel in the construction of identity illustration as calligraphy, going through different levels, such as: research, methodologies, design, visual notes (sketchbooks) and conclusions

Learning outcomes and competences

Deepen the knowledge about the illustration using it for the formulation, discussion and problem solving in the area of training and intervention of students.

Learning objectives and competencies:

Successful students in this course should be able to: i) interpreting different contexts and programs, ii) understand the limitations associated with different illustration techniques, iii) addressing different techniques and strategies for resolvers different types of problems.

The unit of Illustration II provides for the consolidation of working methods with the image shown, experienced in previous years, made here in the perspective of the author, by encouraging research staff to research a calligraphy itself. Narratives will be explored for the construction of a final illustrated that presupposes a model of a possible publication. The seat means as a reflection space where the image will be illustrated proponderante the construction of a visual sequence, which is linear or fragmented. It is intended to identify the social and cultural contexts where the illustrated picture star in your narrative universe.
Be articulated images illustrated with contemporary contact points embedded in the history and evolution of the image of the same. Will be analyzed and worked on visual objects partitioned into 5 groups:

- Information and opinion
- character
- scenario
- following
- Identity / personal project

Teaching methods and learning activities

It is intended to develop a personal project due at the end of the semester. The evaluation will be the sum of the various stages of research associated with different proposed projects. Assessment is continuous and requires a real attendance will not be considered for evaluation projects not discussed during the semester, in the space of classes.
Will be developed off exercises in order to encourage reflection and critical issues associated with the final draft.
