Objectives





">1. This course creates a research environment and understanding of issues relating to artistic practice markedly three-dimensional nature, spatial or sculptural, exploring procedural surrounding where the material is processed / transfigured by specifically adquadas techniques to the various development issues of sculptural practice;


">2. To promote awareness of individual procedural development systems simultaneously creating dynamic collective work;



">3. To encourage the exercise of the trial as a key means of developing sharing capabilities collective environment.



">4. Instigate the development of practice within the various technological environments where materials and techniques come together in a development of creative manipulation skills within the sculpture action space.

Learning outcomes and competences


The operation of this unit within the various workshop spaces makes the consideration of several years worked by students is fundamental to the development of research within this course. The operation in workshop enables generate collective environments where a real effective exchange trials of interajudas and shares where the most important is no longer the reach but rather the way. These workshops on specific subjects, allow the possibility of getting results and achieving a simplified learning procedures to take every procedural environment. ">It focuses on the creative processes of students and in every moment of practice research, observing and urging their creativity and their personal measurements.
This course is conceived as a place where the exchange of experiences and encounters between people is the foundation of the sharing process, a place where critical analysis of speeches stimulate creative processes of research, a place to activate fundamental collective questioning practices to the growth of an individual consciousness within the sculptural action territory and within the framework of his artistic practice in the contemporaneity.

Program


During the 1st half are developed three workshops in three specific materials Stone, Metal and Wood. Students make contact first with these issues and their respective techniques being urged to develop a deep sense of analysis of the forms, through graphic studies (analytical design), of developing modular forms in different volumetric materials that will perform in the field ">abovementioned

The aim is to students to acquire and develop a critical sense appropriate to the level of training of the 2nd year of the 1st cycle in procedural and technological fields. The organization of the different moments of work, research and development and the results will be kept in digital file.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Is formulated a set of proposed structuring of teaching strategies, since it is about each that will be mobilized various actions;
Lectures accompanying the development of proposals, dealing with plastics and technical aspects, conceptual and critical.
Sessions nature presents to promote confrontation with examples from art history from various epochs and contemporary art practice through the means available (projection of images, video or other).
Visits to exhibitions, museums, shops, and others whose interest and opportunity are appropriate to the features of the current year or are translated into an asset for the artistic education of pupils at this level;
Moments of individual discussion and collective monitoring of responses to the proposed exercises, as well as reflection and critical analysis of the set of results at the end of each fiscal year.

Eligibility for exams

Assessment is continuous, but were exercised at two levels:
First level: is the assessment that is submitted to the outcome of each financial year ending in confrontation with the processes involved;
Second level: assessment of student progress throughout the semester, also on the file that the compiler itself, through which it is possible to reconstruct an evolutionary overview.
