Summary:

This project aims at experimentally consolidating the theoretical study carried out with non-linear free-radical copolymerizations in semi-batch reactors. Experiments with a bench scale reactor with different monomer/initiator/transfer agent addition policies will be carried out. Measured conversions and molecular weights with different chemical systems will be compared with predictions of kinetic models, allowing their improvement, as well as the achievement of general principles to optimize the structure of polymers thus obtained.
