Specialization Course in Interaction Design, Web and Games (Postgraduate Training)
It is a non-degree course, with the framework and requirements of a 2nd cycle, with a minimum of 30 credits (ECTS).
Students who successfully complete the specialization course will be issued a specialization diploma (non-degree), with an indication of the credits (ECTS) awarded, allowing the European recognition of the competences acquired.

Course objectives
The Specialization Course in Interaction Design, Web and Games aims to develop skills and solid training in design for interactive media (including the Web) and video games, and in human-centered design methodologies.
This course of the FBAUP, in partnership with FEUP and UPTEC - Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, is organized in sequential modules, and counts on a faculty specialized in the area of Human-Computer Interaction and respective subareas of study and intervention that, with the collaboration of invited specialists, will identify and analyze the technological and communicational specificities of the various contexts of interactive media, their methodological and procedural repercussions for the development of projects in multidisciplinary teams.
In its course plan, besides the structural concepts of interaction and game design, design methodologies for the various project phases will be studied and implemented, documentation for their communication in the working team will be developed, and different prototyping and evaluation processes will be implemented.
Addressees
Students with a degree or master's in communication design or related areas; graduates in artistic, engineering, or communication areas, who wish to specialise in the scientific areas of the course; design professionals.
Access requirements
Completed academic qualification of 1st cycle of higher education or professional experience in communication design or related areas.
Note: The course will operate with a minimum of 10 enrolments.
