I'm Nené, from Lever, Portugal (1981).I'm an artist, educator, writer and methodological agnostic.
I write poems, fiction and academic texts.
I study the potential of education and art to reinvigorate ethics and practices of vitality, connection and attentive listening.
I support generative and collaborative forms of leadership. I am a strong editor and creative maker, a dedicated and attentive tutor, and less poignant in the role of decision-maker.
I am a neuroqueer and an advocate of inclusive neurodiversity policies. One of the central axes of my academic research concerns the potential of the ‘neuroprolix’ mind for neurotypical education.
I research and create through art, experimenting with interdisciplinary approaches that combine drawing, dance, dramaturgy and artistic approaches based on language and listening in the visual arts, as a way of polemicising the contemporary politics of attention and collective porosity.
