Apresentação Pessoal

Artist, researcher, lives and works between Lisbon and Porto.She earned a PhD in Communication Sciences: Communication and Arts from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of the NOVA University of Lisbon (FCSH UNL), with the thesis “Mapping the Space between Art and Science in Contemporary Culture: Link and Interval”, having been awarded an FCT scholarship.

She is currently an invited teacher in the Multimedia department at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, where she teaches in the master’s and bachelor’s programmes. She is an integrated member of the ICNOVA research unit and a collaborator with i2ADS.
She is the coordinator of the research project (de)MONSTRAS: imaginaries, corporalities and amphibious materialities (2023.24, ICNOVA) and, alongside Cristina Mateus, of VIDEODREAMS: Practices of the Imaginary (2022, FBAUP).

She has been working with Maria Mire in an artistic duo since 2017. Also with Maria Mire, she co-edited INTERACT #34, Online Journal of Art, Culture and Technology, on the theme DEAD LINK: mediations of artistic practices (2021, ICNOVA), and issue 59 of the Journal of Communication and Languages (ICNOVA), on the theme Media-Bodies: Matter and Imaginary (2023.24). Since 2023, she has been working in collaboration with Rogério Nuno Costa as a researcher within the framework of the European project STAGES - Sustainable Theatre Alliance for a Green Environmental Shift, in association with the D. Maria II National Theatre.
