1. Team research (research centers,research projects and research lines, applications, choice of themes, tasks, authorship, team management, results, dissemination).
2. Archive research (databases, documentation, primary and secondary sources, architectural exhibitions).
3. Individual research (research grants, fieldwork, interviews, formats, languages).
4. Research through publications (writing techniques, articles, compilations, magazines, books, films, other formats).
5. Evaluation (presentation and discussion of individual works).

Eligibility for exams
Students must attend 80% of the classes taught.
Calculation formula of final grade
The classification of individual work will result from the weighting of the following criteria and evaluation parameters:
Text quality: 30%
Relevance of the proposal: 20%
Work structure: 15%
Clarity: 15%
Graphic quality: 10%
The Final Classification will have the following weighting:
Participation: 10%
Presentation of work: 15%
Individual work: 75%
Classification improvement
There will be no possibility of improving the classification.
Observations
1. The academic works produced within the scope of Curricular Units of the PDA - Doctoral Programme in Architecture, insofar as they constitute the result of the intellectual effort produced by the student in the exercise of their teaching activities, fulfill the broad concept of literary work enshrined in article 2, no. of July 1971 approved for accession by Decree no. 73/78, of 26 July (Bern Convention), and in article 1, no. 1, of the Code of Copyright and Related Rights (CDADC), and therefore, the respective copyright belongs to the student, without prejudice to legal uses.
2. Without prejudice to the maintenance of copyright ownership and the right to use the work in future works, FAUP is permitted to use, reproduce and make academic works available for teaching and educational purposes, as long as there are no associated financial or economic purposes, namely in
in exhibitions and publications that FAUP holds or participates in.
3. At the end of the academic year, all evaluated academic work becomes part of FAUPn's material and digital archive and some work may be returned to Students.
4. The provisions of the previous paragraphs do not affect the mandatory identification of the intellectual creator and the work.
