Resumo (PT): Novos cenários comunicativos surgiram com a Web 2.0, indiscutivelmente. A sociedade está em profunda mutação, os jovens que já nasceram na era da tecnologia aprendem e processam a informação de forma diferente. Parece-nos claro que o processo educativo terá de adoptar renovada postura perante esta realidade. E dada a natureza dinâmica da Web que continuamente evolui, este processo tem pela frente um crescente desafio: aproveitar da melhor forma o potencial oferecido pela Web. Este artigo tenta explicar como o conceito de Web 2.0 pode ser concretizado em contexto educativo e descreve a forma como se transformou um protótipo de portal educativo Web 1.0, limitado na sua interactividade, num portal Web 2.0 que tira partido de um software social para chegar mais próximo do seu público-alvo: os jovens do ensino secundário.
Abstract (EN): Ther is no doubt that new communication scenarios have emerged with Web 2.0. Cociety is undergoing deep changes; youngsters who were born during the new-technology era learn and process information in a different way. It is clear to us that the educational process will have to adopt a new position towards that reality. Given the dynamic nature of the Web, and its continous evolution, this process faces an ever-growing challenge: to fully take advantage of the Web 2.0 potential. This paper intends to explain how the Web 2.0 concept can be achieved within and educational context and it shows how a Web 1.0 protoptype educational portal, with limited interactive capabilities, was converted into a Web 2.0 portal making use of social networks software to reach its target public: young high-school students.
