Abstract (EN):
With the increasing complexity of work activities the thermal environment gains a major role. Based on this, the study of the respective impact on workplaces has been gaining an increasing importance, especially in activities that not require a high physical performance, but have strong demands on cognitive level. The influence of stress in human behavior due to extreme temperatures has been the subject of study for many years, since it allows to understand the reactions of individuals working in adverse conditions. It is therefore essential to identify and monitorize variables to evaluate the performance under different environmental conditions. This paper attempts to define the parameters and respective measurement equipment to provide a test protocol to investigate the human cognitive response under different conditions of temperature and humidity, in terms of mental fatigue. For such purpose, a literature review was carried out about different topics according to appropriate key words. From the results, it was possible to identify the most relevant parameters and the best suitable equipment to drawing a protocol for the measurement of the cognitive response at the level of mental fatigue, changing the temperature and humidity
