Abstract (EN): Coil system is considered one of the most important subsystems in a Wireless Power Transfer System (WPTS). The maximum efficiency for which a WPTS is designed, only occurs when the coils are perfectly alligned otherwise degradation takes place. At the design level the radius of the coils and wire has impact on the efficiency of the wireless transmission and is the case of consideration of this paper. The paper carries out a thorough evaluation of the magnetic parameters such as; i) self-inductance, ii) mutual inductance and iii) coupling coefficient versus misalignment conditions for different values of coil and wire radius. The analysis is validated by simulations through Comsol Multiphysics, by Finite Element Method (FEM) based.
