Resumo (PT): A moda, no campo dos estudos académicos recentes e contemporâneos, ainda permanece como um tópico incipiente. Assim, o nosso trabalho situa-se nesse gap, no sentido em que pretende oferecer ao leitor uma visão teórica e histórica sobre a moda punk desde a década de 1970 até à atualidade, sendo que na atualidade o foco incidirá sobre a relevância crescente da slow fashion. Com efeito, este artigo pretende enfatizar uma abordagem que tem como pano de fundo uma análise que visa interligar a moda com uma prática ativista, em termos históricos, em Portugal, bem como pretende dar conta da importância da adoção de um ethos e de uma praxis DIY junto dos jovens punk portugueses. Paralelamente, importa referir que este trabalho é resultado de uma longa pesquisa de terreno que se prolongou entre os anos de 2012 e 2017, em Portugal, na qual se realizara, 240 entrevistas semiestruturadas a atores chave do movimento punk em Portugal. Contudo, dadas as limitações impostas, apenas nos debruçaremos sobre uma análise de pendor visual, ou seja, iremo-nos focar na apresentação de fotografias por alguns desses atores chave e que, na nossa ótica, retratam estas mudanças ao nível da moda, do ativismo e do DIY em Portugal.

Abstract (EN): Fashion, in the field of recent and contemporary academic studies, still remains as an incipient topic. Thus, our work is situated in this gap, in the sense that it intends to offer the reader a theoretical and historical view on punk fashion since the 1970s to the present time, being that at the present time the focus will be on the growing relevance of slow fashion. Indeed, this article intends to emphasize an approach that has as background an analysis that aims to interconnect fashion with an activist practice, in historical terms, in Portugal, as well as to account for the importance of the adoption of an ethos and a DIY praxis among young Portuguese punk. In parallel, it should be noted that this work is the result of a long field research that lasted between the years 2012 and 2017, in Portugal, in which had been carried out, 240 semi-structured interviews to key actors of the punk movement in Portugal. However, given the limitations imposed, we will only focus on a visual analysis, i.e., we will focus on the presentation of photographs by some of these key players and that, in our view, portray these changes in terms of fashion, activism and DIY in Portugal.
